My concept of the “4 Plus 1 Worlds” according to my experience is summarized as folllows:
- World One is the world of tribal peoples, the world of childhood as a humanrace.
- World Two is the urban tribal peoples, the world of teenage with a lot of struggles and ups and downs.
- World Three is the city or developing countries, that is the world of youthful ambition, the world with big ambitions and dreams, sacrificing almost everything for the dreams, caring nothing or no one other than serving the achieving the big dream.
- World Four is the industrialized world, where our humanity has reached maturity and realization of what life actually means; where we realized we actually landed in a wrong place, not into our dreamed world we dreamt about in World three, and therefore, responding to this realization by finding out solutions, thinking of whether go back or go forward.
Until this point, it is important to note that we are not using the world and number one, two …. four in order of importance, nor in order of levels. We don’t use First, Second, Third and Fourth. We use one, two, three and four.
After World Four, there is a realisation that what we should go is three-fold:
- World Four to move foward;
- World One to Stay and welcome world four, interact with world 2, world 3 and world 4, build relationships, speak to each other. Each party is to acknowledge each other as separate but equally important, and inter-related and inter-dependent to each other.
- Allow and if possible, witness and enjoy “World Five” to evolve as the outcome of “interaction” and “Inter-seeping” between the worlds.
